Sasaig

Sasaig is a timber kit home, built on site on the Isle of Skye.

Heating comes from a ground source system drawing on two 100m-deep drilled wells, combined with Grant solar thermal panels to heat the hot water cylinder.

With upgraded insulation and improved air-tightness throughout, the house is very economical to run - an innovative approach at the time it was built.
