Together with his wife, Mary, he established the company to turn that ambition into reality, combining their individual strengths and experience with a shared vision: to take the quality, character and craftsmanship of Highland homebuilding to a national stage.

Meet the Founders
Steven Duncan
Co-Founder | Construction & Development
Steven's career in construction began as a teenager working in the family business. Learning the industry from the ground up, he developed skills across multiple trades before progressing into site management.
His experience grew to include overseeing major construction packages for national housebuilders and commercial projects, including the Agricultural Museum in Glasgow, Council Offices in Edinburgh and Glencorse Barracks for the Ministry of Defence.
After working as a Contracts Manager for a national builder, Steven established his own construction business, delivering bespoke homes for private clients.
From planning and building regulations to managing skilled tradespeople and the finer details of construction, he gained a reputation for delivering quality homes on time and within budget.
But Steven had always wanted to take the next step: creating homes of his own, with the freedom to shape every aspect of their design, character and finish.
Today, he brings that experience, ambition and hands-on attention to detail to every development.
Mary Duncan
Co-Founder | Strategy & Business Development
Mary brings a different but complementary set of skills, with a career built around leadership, developing organisations and turning ambitious ideas into reality.
Having held management roles across the Highlands and nationally, she is now Chief Executive Officer of a national organisation, working closely with the Scottish Government, local authorities, and organisations across the UK and internationally.
She holds a Master of Arts in Sociology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Childhood Practice and a postgraduate-level qualification in Project Management.
Mary also served for 17 years in the Army Reserve - an experience that helped shape her approach to leadership, teamwork and determination.
Bringing her experience in strategy, business development and organisational leadership to the company, Mary works alongside Steven to shape its future and build a business they are both proud of.
